Yamaha Jetski вопрос по моточасам

Hello,

 

I must try to change the hours (on Jetski it's hours, not km/mil) on some different Yamaha Jets. I found alot of info on the internet, but there's nothing about changing the hours value.

These jets using normal K-Line adapter to connect to the PC.

The cable is a simple VAG COM OBDII (16 pins) cable (ISO9141 and KWP2000 transmission protocol) can be found on ebay for around 10$. Must be ISO4191 compatible 100%.

Pin 4 = GND

Pin 16 = 12V

Pin 7 = K-Line

 

Then you must change the USB to Serial Adapter Com Port to be COM 1 in Device Manager (on Windows XP).

And after that you can use Yamaha Diagnostic Software - YDIS 1.32 (LIT-YDIS1-32-00) for example, but that's only a diagnostic software and you can not modify any settings.

I still cannot find it anywhere for download too.

 

The Hours of the Jet is stored in the DASH and in the ECU.

The CPU used in the ECU is labeled as a MH8102R, the manufacturer is Renesas and is commonly referred to as a M32R CPU:

So basically I can open the Dash and maybe there will be some kind of eeprom where I can change the Hours, but I don't know how can I change the hours in the ECU too.

Is there someone who can give me some tips or some links (forums) where I can get that kind of info please? I know that this forum is AUTO oriented, but probably someone can help.
